Deposit Relationship Banker - North Austin

Our Deposit Relationship Bankers represent the Bank and our culture of YES in every transaction and customer interaction. Those in this position are tasked with collaborating across teams to retain, strengthen, and develop customer relationships. Success in this role requires advanced customer service and communication skills; banking knowledge; teamwork; time management skills; and the ability to build and strengthen relationships with external and internal customers. We are currently searching for hiring high-potential people to join our Deposit Operations team at our North Austin offices located at 12007 Technology Blvd. This position is required to spend time in the office.

What will I do?

Key highlights include:

  • Collaborate with branch operations, commercial lending business partners, and treasury staff to retain, strengthen, and develop customer relationships.
  • Represent the Bank in the business community by actively developing relationships with current and prospective customers at the direction of management.
  • Make it easy for customers to do business with us by navigating systems management issues, handling customer’s questions and concerns, troubleshooting account issues, solving customer problems, and collaborating with your teammates.
  • Assist with questions or concerns regarding current accounts, and our other products and services.
  • Open new accounts and services, while maintaining internal controls, including obtaining all required documentation to identify the customer and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Aid customers with additional services and products as needed, such as safe deposit box access, ATM and debit card requests, check orders, compromised accounts and savings bonds.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products including loans, cash management, treasury products and deposits to enhance the customer experience.
  • Other duties as assigned and/or taken on.


Am I the Right Fit?

The ideal candidate is an experienced banking professional who possesses:

  • Minimum: BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or any other subject matter which demonstrates both the desire and ability to perform the job duties of this position.
  • 2+ years of banking experience in a New Account, Universal Banker, or Personal Banker role.
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, PPT, Access, and reporting.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and contribute to a team’s success.
  • Optimistic, internally motivated, community-oriented personality; and,
  • Ability to make decisions, create change, and help grow a company – while growing yourself.

Preferred skills:

  • 5+ years of banking experience including teller, new accounts, cash management, and/or treasury
  • Experience with Q2 systems and/or other digital banking platforms
  • Advanced knowledge/experience with customer service support including, but not limited to: RDC installation and systems
